my lovely friend Colette ...the unique and talented one ...they broke the

mold .......

When Cold Through To The Bones .......

There is only one thing for it .......

Recently I have walked a very rocky uneven path...

Life IS what happens ...when you are busy making other plans...

But I have been practicing what I preach ................

Glide when things are difficult....soar when they are not .....

It seems to have worked......

Life is like a butterfly ........

Decisions...decisions ...life is one big decision !!!

What an earth am I going to do with these ?

just as I discover the wonderful world of blog. I lose my internet

connection ........

just as well there are other distractions .......

Back for more .........

Spent another fabulous day at the Welsh Museum ...this time with another lovely friend ...who was determined to get in the frame every time I tried to get a decent shot .....so after we parked our mode of transport ...... we ventured off here ....

Oh No !!! ....spot the hand !!!

A good shot ruined !!! ...did he have to ?

Went off to find another church ....is this it ?

No! ...it's a pig sty....my word, didn't these pigs live in style!...not quite what

I imagined.......

Oh here it is ....found it at last .....and not a friend in sight !

This church was taken apart, stone by stone , transported here and

meticulously rebuilt. These fabulous paintings was discovered as they were

taking it apart. It stood a few miles from where I live, hence my interest.


My friend behaved himself after this ...and we spent a happy day getting

soaked through to the skin....after all, it's only rain ......

Sometimes ........

...you have to take a break.....

...to blow away the cobwebs.....

Life Changing Decision ..........

I have acquired this fabulous wooden box .......

no problem filling it........

but I am not very partial to black .......

question is ....do I paint it with chalk paint and alter it ?

or shall I leave well alone ..........

what do you think....any suggestions would be welcome......

....everything seems so different...on a Sunday....

even the leaves roll down the street in a different kind of way ...................

clutching my packet ....and inside was this!

A primitive needle case made by the unique and talented Colette!

The ingredients came from Wales, but these small fragments of Welsh flannel

made it to the other side of the pond by the skin of their teeth....as did

Colette!


With a slight detour they eventually found their way to Toronto, where they

were turned into a place to keep my favourite needles ... the ones I am

covertous about, the ones I can thread easily...you know!...the ones

with enormous eyes...but skinny bodies! 


Some people are covertous with their chocolate ...me with my books and

needles!....

I love my needle case ....in fact I love everything she creates ....if I hadn't

stumbled across Colette...then I wouldn't be sat here writing this now!
